How Long Does It Take to Process a Vendor Registration?
At PaymentWorks, safeguarding your payee data is our top priority. Most payee registrations are processed automatically and made available to payers within seconds.
However, in cases where a registration did not pass our automated fraud checks for bank account ownership, we may decide to further review the registration.
If additional information or corrections are requested from the payee, the review process will restart once the requested information has been received.
Review Process Overview
For the subset of payee registrations requiring review, these are actioned in the order they are received and prioritized accordingly. While many reviews are completed quickly, some reviews may require additional time depending on the information provided, the complexity of the review, and the responsiveness of the payee.
PaymentWorks’ Fraud Operations team may reach out to your payee as part of our review process. If we are unable to connect right away or are waiting on a callback, this can extend the processing timeline.
Questions About Review Timelines?
If a payer has a business-critical need for a registration to be reviewed, they may contact Support. Requests will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
