What You'll See

1. Connection Information

Located at the top of the tab, this section includes key details about the profile and its current state:

    • Request ID (this acts as the primary/parent ID for the profile)
  • Status
  • Submission Date
  • Link to Onboarding Record
  • Pending Approvers
  • Vendor Number · Site Code (connected profiles only)
  • Tags

2. Submission Data Sections

Submitted payee data is organized into the following sections:

Classic Data Categories

  • Primary Information (Business and Legal Entity information)
  • Primary Contact (Primary / Corporate Contact information)
  • Sanctions List Reporting
  • Additional Information

Note: Location and bank account details have moved to the Locations & Banking tab.

Newly Added Data Categories (availability will depend on whether payee has provided this information or not)

    • Payment Information (Payment Method and Payment Terms)
    • Passport and Visa Information
  • Conflicts of Interest

A Data Category list on the left allows you to jump directly to any section.

A Few Things to Know About Specific Fields

  • Tax Form: Displays as w-8 or w-9
  • Tax ID: The label reflects the ID type provided by the payee (SSN, EIN, ITIN, or Tax ID) and includes hyphens where applicable
  • Tax Country: Displays the full country name alongside the two-letter ISO-3166 country code
  • Sanctions: Sanctions results are only visible if sanctions checks are enabled for the payer account for the relevant profile type (individual or company). If sanctions are disabled, results will not be shown.

Note: On connected profiles, Profile Data reflects only payer-approved information. To view historical versions of approved data, use the Version History panel.

Available Actions

Actions available to you will vary based on your role and the profile's current workflow stage:

  • Approve : Confirm and move the profile forward
  • Return : Send the submission back to the payee with a message for corrections
  • Reject : Deny the submission entirely
  • Route and Approve : Approve and send for required routing
  • Reset Approvals : Available to Admins prior to processing
  • Connect Profile : Connect a fully approved profile to establish the payer and payee connection

Note: Connect Profile requires appropriate permissions. If the payer collects both Remit and Order addresses, both must be present before the profile can be connected.

Approval Validation Warnings

When approving an onboarding submission, a warning will be displayed if any of the following conditions are true:

  • Tax ID validation returned an invalid response or is still pending completion
  • Tax ID type mismatch: the payee selected one type (e.g., SSN) but validation returned a different type (e.g., EIN)
  • A sanctions list alert was found, or the sanctions check is still pending
  • The corporate address was not validated

These warnings are informational and do not prevent approval, but are intended to prompt the reviewer to assess the submission carefully before proceeding.
