How to Update Your MFA Phone Number

If you need to update your Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) phone number, follow the steps below based on whether you have access to your current MFA phone number.


Do You Have Access to Your Current MFA Phone Number?

YES:

  1. Log in to your PaymentWorks account at PaymentWorks Login.
  2. Click on the Account link in the top-right corner of the screen.
  3. Select the Edit button next to your current MFA phone number.
  4. Enter your new phone number and select your preferred verification method (text or voice call).
  5. Click Submit to save your changes.

NO:

If you no longer have access to the phone number associated with your MFA, you’ll need to contact PaymentWorks Support.

  1. File a support ticket by visiting our Help Center.
  2. Include the following information in your ticket:
    • The email address associated with your PaymentWorks account.
    • The phone number currently registered for MFA (if available).
  3. Be prepared to complete an account verification process to update your MFA phone number.
