The PaymentWorks Reporting Dashboards feature provides key metrics and visual insights into vendor and payment data at a glance. This guide outlines the functionality of the Dashboards feature, how to access it, and the types of dashboards currently available.
Accessing Reporting Dashboards
To access the Reporting Dashboards feature, your user account must have the "Reporting User" role assigned. This role grants you access to:
- The Reporting parent feature.
- Its two child features: Reports and Dashboards.
How to Enable Reporting Access
Your organization's Account Admin must assign the "Reporting User" role to your user account. Follow these steps to ensure access:
-
Assign the Role:
Ask your Account Admin to log in to the PaymentWorks platform and navigate to user settings to assign the "Reporting User" role to your account. -
Access the Reporting Menu:
Once the role is assigned, log in to your PaymentWorks account. You will see the Reporting menu on the navigation bar or in the dropdown menu.Note:
- The "Reporting User" role grants access to all reports and associated data, regardless of existing permissions.
- Currently, there are no field-level permissions or report restrictions, but these features will be added in a future release.
Dashboards Feature Overview
The Dashboards feature provides headline metrics, charts, and visualizations curated by PaymentWorks. These dashboards allow you to monitor vendor activity and payment data effectively. The availability of specific dashboards depends on your organization’s configured features.
Out-of-the-Box Dashboards
At the time of writing, PaymentWorks offers two pre-configured dashboards:
1. Vendor Dashboard
The Vendor Dashboard focuses on metrics related to vendor onboarding and engagement. Key metrics include:
- Invitations Sent: Total invitations sent to vendors.
- Connected Vendors: The number of vendors successfully connected to your account.
- Segmented Vendor Totals: Vendors categorized by status, such as active, pending, or rejected.
This dashboard helps you assess the effectiveness of your onboarding process and identify potential bottlenecks.
