What Is a Bank Validation File?

A Bank Validation File is required when providing a bank account in PaymentWorks. This file ensures your banking information is accurate and helps verify your account details for secure transactions.

What Should a Bank Validation File Include?

The document must display the following details:

  1. Name on the Bank Account: Your legal company name or DBA.
  2. Financial Institution: The name of your bank.
  3. Routing Number: The bank’s routing number.
  4. Bank Account Number: Must be provided in full (not redacted).

Acceptable Bank Validation Documents

Your bank validation file can be one of the following:

  • Voided Check
  • Pre-Printed Deposit Slip
  • Bank Statement
  • Bank Letter (on official bank letterhead)

File Format Requirements

Your bank validation file must be uploaded in one of the following formats:

  • PDF
  • Image File: JPEG, PNG, or similar formats.
