Understanding PaymentWorks’ Role
At PaymentWorks, we partner with your customer to validate vendor information, such as bank account details, to ensure secure transactions. However, PaymentWorks does not create, distribute, or provide access to W2 forms or other IRS tax documentation.
What Should You Do?
Contact Your Employer:
If you are looking for your W2, reach out to the organization that employs you. They are responsible for issuing W2 forms, as they report your wages and tax withholdings to the IRS.
Check Your Payroll System:
Your employer may distribute W2s through an online payroll portal, such as ADP, Workday, or another HR platform. If applicable, check your employee account for access.
Consult Your HR or Payroll Department:
If you have not received your W2 or need a copy, your company’s HR or payroll department can provide assistance.
Check with Your Tax Professional:
For additional guidance, a tax advisor can help you understand your requirements and direct you on where to find the appropriate documentation.
Why PaymentWorks Can’t Help
While PaymentWorks facilitates secure connections and vendor validation for your customer, IRS tax documentation, like a W2, is managed solely by your employer.
If you have further questions about your registration or PaymentWorks-related processes, feel free to reach out—we’re happy to assist!
