Cancelling invitations helps organizations manage onboarding efficiently and ensures vendor email addresses can be reused if needed. Below is an explanation of how to cancel and handle invitations.     ### Cancelling Invitations #### **Steps to Cancel an Invitation:** 1. Locate the **Onboarding Record** for the payee whose invitation you want to cancel. 2. Open the **Details View** of the record. 3. Click the **Cancel Invitation** button. 4. Confirm the action by clicking **OK** when prompted with “Are you sure you want to proceed?” > **Note:** Only users with permission to cancel invitations can perform this action. #### **What Happens When You Cancel an Invitation?** - The invitation link sent to the payee is deactivated, preventing them from registering. - The invitation’s status will update to **Cancelled**. - Reminder emails associated with the invitation are automatically disabled. #### **Viewing Cancelled Invitations:** By default, cancelled invitations are hidden in PaymentWorks. To view cancelled invitations: 1. Adjust the filter options in the **Onboarding Tracker**. 2. The ability to delete invitations has been removed to prevent issues with data integrity. Instead, customers should use the **Cancel Invitation** feature to manage both claimed and unclaimed invitations. By cancelling invitations, customers ensure the onboarding record is deactivated without risking the deletion of important data. --- ### Need Help?
